Frank Vincent!

Longtime mafioso portrayer Frank Vincent forgoddaboutit for the last time today, at the age of 78! He is probably best remembered for playing Billy Batts (“Go get your fucking shinebox”) in Goodfellas and Tony’s last main antagonist Phil Leotardo in the later seasons of The Sopranos, but he also gangstered it up in Casino, Gotti, The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, Grand Theft Auto III and Liberty City Stories, Chicago Overcoat, and New York Undercover, while also making appearances in more varied roles in Do the Right Thing, Raging Bull, Jungle Fever, Stargate Atlantis, and Walker Texas Ranger. Didn’t get into acting until he was pushing 40! Huh! There’s hope for us all yet!

Spoiler alert: Don’t get too attached to Billy Batts

And Sean is back in the game after 215 days away – the longest non-Eileen/Mike Walsh streak going! His second death of the year drags him out of the Wright basement! Nicely done!

Replacement pick due by next Wednesday!

(Incidentally, we’re away from the 15th to the 24th, so any deaths accumulated in that time will almost definitely not be posted about until we get back. Don’t panic!)
