Connie Sawyer and Ursula K. Le Guin!

I always thought she looked surprisingly like my grandmother. But didn’t everybody think this?

Actress Connie Sawyer and author Ursula K. Le Guin both scored for the same team here in the early going of Year Twelve, on consecutive days! Sawyer’s career didn’t truly take off until she was well into her 70s, popping up as various mothers, grandmothers, and nameless old ladies in such films and shows as When Harry Met Sally, Dumb and Dumber, Pineapple Express, Seinfeld, 2 Broke Girls, and Ray Donovan. She released her autobiography I Never Wanted to Be a Star – And I Wasn’t last fall. Le Guin was a giant in science fiction, publishing dozens of novels, children’s books, poetry collections, and short stories. She is probably best known for her Earthsea series and Hugo award winners The Left Hand of Darkness, The Dispossessed, and The Word for World is Forest, a number of which were adapted for television by the BBC.

Right out of the box with the new combo team, and Dondos is already making a mark! Both deaths go to Kevin and Kristen G.’s team, scoring 27 points and jumping to an early third place overall. This is the 15th time that one team has scored deaths on consecutive days. Nicely done!

Still working on the draft – we’re getting near the end though! Replacements soon!
