Peter George Peterson!

Former Nixon cabinet member and investment banker Peter George Peterson sold short for the last time this week, at the age of 91! Named the most influential billionaire in politics a few years back, Peterson served in such dubious positions as Secretary of Commerce under Dick Nixon, CEO of Lehman Brothers, co-founder of the Blackstone Group, and director at McCann Erickson. Despite all this, he seemed genuinely concerned with national fiscal responsibility, and periodically broke with Republican ideology to emphasize this point, on various councils and boards. He also signed the Giving Pledge – a rich guy promise to donate up to half of his fortune – so that’s admirable!

And Sarah collects her sixth big death of the year, extending an already comfortable lead and nearly cracking the top 50 years all time, in less than three months! Off to a hot start! Well done!

Replacement pick due by next Wednesday!
