Jim Taylor and Paul Allen!

NFL figures Jim Taylor and Paul Allen sat through their last boring Roger Goodell speech this week, at the ages of 83 and 65, respectively! Taylor’s Hall of Fame fullback career, primarily with the Green Bay Packers, included winning four NFL Championships plus the first Super Bowl in the 1960s, and being named to five Pro Bowls. He still holds the Packers team record for rushing touchdowns with 81! Allen, the 44th richest man in the world as of this year, co-founded Microsoft with Bill Gates, and did what anyone rolling in dough with any sense would – he bought a bunch of sports franchises. Owner of the Seattle Seahawks, the Portland Trail Blazers, and a MLS team that I’m sure is very nice, Allen won a Lombardi trophy with the Seahawks help for Super Bowl XLVIII, while the Trail Blazers won squadoosh under his ownership. I’m not sure the MLS has a championship – they probably do, right?

Bats scores his second death in five days with Taylor, tying his personal best with eight on the year! And Rob finally gets back in the game with his second death of the year, snapping the longest current dry spell at 192 days. Well done, folks!

Replacement picks due by next Wednesday!
